Letters To Our Children ~May~
Dear Lacey,
Another school year is almost gone and you have grown so much. Your kind spirited personality is what I love most about you. You have never met a stranger which at times can make me cringe. Your love for animals is amazing and I know when you grow up you will be that veterinarian you dream of being. You love to rescue anything and if your dad would allow it we would have tons of animals. Don't worry I will keep working on him! I love finding you in the fields just sitting talking with your animals. The look on their faces show that they know that you love them very much. Just the other day we had a little bird that fell out of it's nest and you wanted so bad to help him and be his mom. Unfortunately, we could not save him but you named him Ben and I know his finally moments were happy because of you. From the moment you were placed in my arms I knew you were special and everyone else could feel that too. Our very own angel sent to us straight from heaven.
XOXO,
Mommy

letters to our children ~April
Dear Lacey and Lainey,
This month I decided to write my letter to the both of you. You both are growing so fast and there is moments when I think where has time gone. You both have totally different personalities but at times can be exactly alike. From Lainey's first kicks in my tummy when you Lacey would talk to her I knew then that there would be this special bond. A bond that only sisters share....a bond that would make you two best friends forever. I love to listen to your conversations in the mornings on the way to school and when I pick Lacey up from school because Lainey you want to hear all about Lacey's day. I love hearing Lainey say "oh Lacey" when something does not go her way and hearing you Lacey laugh at her. I love to hear the giggles from playing hide and seek or jumping high on the trampoline because you two think you can reach the sky. Sometimes when you see me just sitting outside watching you guys it's because I am soaking up all your love for one another.
Lacey, you are the big sister so you know Lainey will always look up to you and depend on you. And Lainey being the little sister you need to always let Lacey know that you are there and she can depend on you too. I know with all my heart you will always be there for one another....protect each other...and always love each other.
xoxo,
Mommy
