Lacey Turns 6!!

So I am finally writing Lacey’s birthday blog post!! Can we say denial?

Where has time gone and why is Lacey 6 already?  It seems like yesterday I was getting the call saying “you are pregnant!”  From the moment I heard those words it was an instant love and bond.   Lacey has taught me so much about faith, blessings and miracles.   If you know Lacey she has this personality that can light up the world.  She loves with her whole heart and has never met a stranger.   Words cannot describe her laughter.  It truly is contagious!

Lacey’s 6th Birthday Interview

Me:  Lacey do you feel older?
Lacey:  Yes, because I just turned 6!
Me:  What was your favorite moment from your birthday?
Lacey:  My bowling party.
Me:  What’s your favorite thing about yourself?
Lacey:  I love my hands…I love to clap!!
Me:  What do you want to be when you grow up?
Lacey:  I want to be a mom.
Me:  What’s your favorite food?
Lacey:  Grapes!!
Me:  What’s your favorite toy to play with?
Lacey: I like to play with my Wii.
Me:  Lacey, what would you like people to know about you?
Lacey:   l love my cat!

Lacey is an amazing little girl and I am so proud to be called her mommy!!

Simplicity

When I thought about this week's theme it brought me back to what I am trying to teach my girls.  To keep life simple. It doesn't matter if you get a little dirty in life just brush it off and keep on going.
