Inspiration

This week’s theme is “inspiration.”  When I thought about the topic it made me think about what inspired me first to start really taking pictures.  I have always been the girl with the camera running around snapping pictures but once Lacey was born it became a passion.  When she was 6 weeks old I took her to one of those portrait centers and the pictures were horrible.  That day I made the decision I was going to learn to take pictures of my child, the way I saw her.  I still cringe at those dreadful backgrounds!!

So my inspiration picture is going to be Lacey.  She was the beginning of this madness!! Some days I do hear “mom put that camera away!”
