letters to our children-february

My sweetest Lacey,

It's hard to believe you are 7! It seems like yesterday me holding you in the hospital for the first time....your first smile....your first laugh....your first birthday....your first day of preschool. Where has time gone?  You are now a big 1st grader! You are growing too fast and you know how sappy mommy is.  The day you were born the world became a better place and I became a better person. You are an amazing little girl with a heart that is so big that it just takes my breath away.   I love to hear you laugh and will sneak tickles in just to hear you.  You are an awesome big sister and Lainey is very blessed to always have you in her corner.  Watching you get ready for your first Father/Daughter dance was hard. Yes, because mom is a sap! Even though you hate dresses you were gorgeous and in that moment I realized you are growing up. No matter how big you get you will always be my baby girl....my sunshine.

XOXO,
Mommy

  1. Adorable :) I'm a hug sap too, so I can totally relate! LOVE those photos - Daddy and daughter are so sweet, and that big ol' animal kiss photo, I can practically hear the giggles!
