letters to our children-march

To my baby girl,

I look at you I cannot believe how big you are getting.  You know you will soon be 4!!  This year you started preschool and I was so nervous for you.  You had never been away from me and I secretly wanted to keep you home that first day.  But you were so excited and walked right into school and said "bye mommy." I knew then you would be ok without me.  I love that you still want me to sit and hold you. I love the way you still look up at me as if I hung the moon and the stars in the sky.  You did this as a baby too.  I would sit for hours just holding you and staring at this perfect little person.  You know the best part was that you was all mine!  You are my little firecracker and boy do we butt heads at times.  You are so smart and it amazes me how fast you are learning new things.  I love that your best friend is your dog Max.  The two of you sure do get in a lot of trouble together!  But the best moments are when you are cuddle up on the couch with Max and I hear you telling him how much you love him.  You make me so proud.  You are my girly girl that loves dresses and shoes but wants to be a cowgirl.  Being the strong-willed little girl you are I know your cowgirl dreams will come true.  Mommy loves you baby girl to the moon and back!

xoxo,

Mommy
